Welcome
Welcome to the Channeling Wiki site!
This site came into being because channeled material is becoming more and more in the mainstream and it is helpful to look directly at channeling and associated thought in a central place. Different channeling sources have a lot of commonality and the ability to link between them, search for various topics, and allow users to add material themselves would be helpful. Furthermore, one of the benefits of Wikipedia is the community it generates. We hope this site generates community and help for everyone.
Here you can find all channeling that people have contributed, as well as some Channeled Teachings. Although we know channeling is an art and not scientific, we still advocate positive skepticism to be used. Channeling is meant to connect you to yourself and to provide insight and information about the world that cannot be obtained in any other way; it is not meant for you to give your power away to something that seems "higher". There is nothing higher than your own inner self and wisdom.
We find the history of Wikipedia to be admirable and hope that collaboration, fact checking, references, etc will be used here. Many of the answers given by channeling are indeed verifiable in the real world, and we hope this site will encourage such validation though links. Others are only verified on a personal, intuitive basis. It is also possible for different channeled material to be in seeming contradiction.
So after that introduction, welcome! And please add to material, search, and contribute to the community! Anyone can add if you your own account first. If you desire to be part of the evolving community here, perhaps focusing on a particular channeled teaching, please feel free to add pages or Email the sysops!
Getting Started
Probably one of the easiest things to do is just search for random pages. You can also use the search functionality on the left.
The best link seems to be the Categories: The Channeled Teachings category is a base with hundreds of pages under it. There you can find some like Seth Channeling, Michael Teachings, and Polaris Channeling, to name some.
You can also look at channelings of popular channels like Karen Murphy, Shepherd Hoodwin, Troy Tolley, and Natalie Glasson
Who is invited
Absolutely everyone interested in channeled or spiritual material. The original focus here has been channeled material because of the growth of teachings, but as this is a wiki, anything anyone wants to add is welcomed. There is of course the possibility of review, especially for disparaging material. This will evolve naturally; at the beginning, everything is welcome when given with the spirit of community.
What material is welcome?
All channeled material is welcome. All spiritual material not supplied as channeled is also welcome; enlightened spiritual material is truly channeled from our full beings, or "higher self". This inclusiveness also applies to channeled personal material when there is some relevance to others. An example might be that if channeling about sleep for you has many universal elements, that might be good to include.
Obviously, for common subjects such as love, politics, suffering, and so on, there will be many channeling sessions from many different sources. All are welcome; we will learn how to grow, interlink, and amalgamate sources in a respectful way.

How do I create or edit pages?
If you want to create a new page, you need to have a user ID. It's quick and easy to create. Create one via the link at the top right of the screen, or this link.
After you have an ID, you can edit any page on the system. You can also create a new page. The easiest way to do so is to use the search functionality on the left of the screen.
So if you wanted to create a page called "Predictions for 2008", just enter that term in the search box on the left. When you get the results back you'll see a link called "Create this page". (Make sure the page doesn't already exist, of course!) If you click that link, you'll go directly to the editor where you can write or paste what you will.
There is a GUI interface for editing pages. Hovering over the icons gives you a short description for each one. Please feel free to make mistakes - there are others who clean things up. It's more important to have the information in there to begin with!
Also note that because this is a wiki, with exactly the same software as wikipedia, the formatting is slightly different from Microsoft Word. So if you paste from Word, you'll remove most formatting. However, you can add it again using the icons. It's good to label headings as "Heading 1,2,3,.." as that makes a table of contents.
The GUI editor is enabled by default. You can also look at the wiki source code which is obtained by clicking the "Wikitext" button at the top left of the editor. This is a more powerful method, but less user friendly.
If you're adding a collection of documents, think about making a category for them. Simply put [ Category : (name) ] in your text and it'll do it automatically.

Work that needs to be done
- Work on the Wanted Pages List. These are pages that are linked to that haven't been created yet.
- Community Building: Help supporting pages here, including "how tos", resources for local communities, etc.
- Recruiting other channels: The more channels the better. Because most published work is copyright, we need people to ask others and see if it's ok. Fair use material is always welcome too!
- Filling out material. Even if a channel has given permission, it still takes a volunteer to enter the material in wikipedia format with links and headings.
Thank you!
Consult the User's Guide for further information on using the wiki software.
